Handout America Campaign
On September 1, 2000 the Tyler For Life
Foundation (now Save Babies Through Screening) launched a campaign to distribute handouts and posters on newborn
screening. Volunteers across the nation are asked to "hand-out
handouts". Pamphlets and posters can be distributed to hospitals,
doctors offices, health departments, childbirth classes, churches, health fairs,
and anywhere else that the public may can get them.
Since its beginning, this campaign has distributed more than 60,000 handouts and 10,000 posters across the United States. We encourage these forums to provide the handouts to their expectant parents.
