Expression of Appreciation
A family whose child was diagnosed with galactosemia at birth visited their state newborn screening laboratory. They gave out NBS lapel pins and homemade cookies as a token of their appreciation for all the workers had done to help save their child.
Newborn screening pins are available. They are red, white and gold and feature the DNA symbol, a few drops of blood, and the letters “NBS” for newborn screening. Price is $3.00.
To order, send payment, indicate “pins”, and include your mailing address! Send check or money order to the address below. If paying by credit card, send credit card # and expiration date to maryjanerd@aol.com. You may also order online through PayPal by sending payment to savebabies@paypal.com or by clicking the PayPal Button below.
